Why Vayne is (at least to most people) OP

Seemingly, most people have a problem with her true damage.

However, the solution is actually quite simple. And that is buff the other ADCs, make them more relevant.

Ideally, Twitch and Lucian should be very good ADCs. Twitch's stats are low and the range on some of his abilities are lackluster. Lucian has been nerfed too much and can't secure kills as well as Vayne or even Draven.

Make the other ADCs stronger, and Vayne won't seem as bad. In theory, all the ADCs should serve the same purpose of getting kills and being the team's ace in the hole. But, we need to make each of the very strong at doing a certain thing. There is no reason for one champion to completely outmatch another. This game should be based only on skills and tactics. The ADC who has the best tactics and uses his characters abilities to their advantage should come out on top.

Well I mean jinx is a bit strong imo. Aoe crits, amazing push potential and tower destruction ==

As much as I hate vayne, jinx honestly is just.... The comeback potential she provides is obnoxious.

See that's a part of my point, Jinx can do so many things Vayne can't do, and has higher attack speed when using her mini-gun.

Now if we could just apply that logic to the other ADCs like Lucian, Twitch, or maybe even come out with a new ADC to give Vayne a run for her money.

The issue I see people having with Vayne besides True damage is: Good chasing potential, Condemn may be a little strong, and her ult is pretty ridiculous, requiring pinks to deal with. That and the item you'd rush on her combos with her too well (early sustain, AS for proccing W, eventually %hp damage.)

The chasing thing is part of her niche, it's what she's made to do. I do play Vayne a lot and i'm not going to say she isn't OP, she's definitely strong. But she also isn't without weakness. It also sounds like you're a higher elo player than I am too. The Vaynes you deal with are probably tougher.

Riot just needs to apply this logic to the other ADCs. Give each one something that all other players should be scared of.

I think you are misunderstanding when people say weakness. Yes vayne has a weakness like all ADCs do. She is quishy and blows up if you get on her, but that is a CLASS weakness. Now you compare her to other ADCs for a weakness out side of her class; and nothing comes up.

Her range is average, She has 2 AD steroids, she duals, tank busts, self reposition on low CDR (that AA resets),moves faster but using repostion and has extra movement speed for going towards the enemy can go invisible during reposition, and has a CC that procs her 2nd passive plus if you collide with terrain does extra damage.

Find a weakness in that mess of a kit. I did not even bother with the true damage aspect out side of saying the knock back counts towards it.

For a comparison lets do jynx.

Jynx can have either have extra damage with range or norm range and extra AS. She has a trap that has a 1 secound serup time that last 5 secounds but can be used while moving, She has a long range nuke that has to scale with missing enemy health and range for full damage, Kills a enemy or building get bonus speed for 5 sec, has a skill shot range slow that has low additional damage with a 1 sec windup.

You can see the difference in the kits. One is based on conditionals and actually doing something the other is just free power. If you were to vaynes kit to a new player after talking about old champs like ashe compared to new ones like lucain; odds they would think this was a newer more loaded kit.

Quinn might be the only ADC that would need some love to become competitive with the rest of the marksmen. Vayne's a hypercarry, but so are Jinx, Kog, Trist, Draven, Ashe, and Kalista

All I have to say is:

compare Vayne E to Tristana R. Vayne E is almost as good yet it is a normal skill. compare Vayne R to Nocturne Q. Both AD steroids but Vayne's is flatout better. Usually melees get stronger steroids than ranged but not this time. compare Vayne Q to Kalista passive. 150% AD vs. 90% AD.
