End game Graves can self heal with ONE auto attack for about 25% of his MAX HPs.

Yet 15% damage done is "Too much" and "Game braking" for ap champs?

I also don't agree with the change. A champ with lifesteal can win a 1v1 against a mage due to stealing life, more so considering that many mages do burst damage but then need to wait on cooldowns, so instead of having to 100-0 it's more like 150-0. There's still spell vamp from runes/masteries.

Not to mention that lifesteal scales off aspd, AD, and crit without any cooldown or resource cost.

You can have spellvamp if you deal physical damage and build AD. You can have spellvamp if you build hybrid. You can have spellvamp if you do magic damage but build AD. Doesn't matter if you use a resource or not, have cooldowns or just AA, squishy or tank, ranged or melee.

Literally everyone in the game has spellvamp items except AP-only casters.

Vlad is a scapegoat, not a reason. Akali has been as bad or worse than him for a long time, and she still has Gunblade and he was already getting reworked (which means they could have fixed the interaction without removing spellvamp or WoTA).
