What to do when a nasus is playing so extremely safe?

I play squishy laners who are ranged so pre-6 I'm alright against nasus. However the nasus' I god damn hate are the ones which just sit an entire lane away from you but still because of these recent buff end up with 300 stacks at 20 mins. Their little aoe ability which reduces armour ends up doing more damage to me + their minions until they reach 6 and obliterate me with their R. How the hell do you play against a nasus like this? You can't kill them, you can't stop them getting stacks. What do I do?

Freeze by your tower and zone

Sion can be a good counter pick if you have the chance too, since he stacks health t counter Nasus's Q damage to a degree, or anyone with a blind like Teemo or Quinn

Other than that you either have to get your jungler or another teammate to put some early pressure on him so he can't farm AS MUCH, you have to coordinate to just stay on him no matter how much he wants to splitpush.

Try to freeze the lane and DO NOT OVEREXTEND, thats when he will wither and destroy you, try to keep your tower close and your minions closer.

If your Nasus opponent has 300 stacks at 20, you absolutely crushed him. 300 at 20 is horrendous and he's going to be extremely weak.

Don't mindlessly push like a moron, freeze the wave near your tower so you can zone/kill him alone or with your jungler if he wants 300g.

It's also the doran shield that got buffed (kind of), which makes it easier to deal with poke damage, although it punishes you for getting all-in'ed. So unless you're able to consistently push him out of lane or kill him a lot, you're not actually doing anything to stop Nasus.

It's also important not to push your lane when against Nasus, since you'll make it much more likely that he'll be csing at his tower, which is the single safest place he can be. I've won games as Nasus against Illaoi, Heim, and Akali simply because they naturally push their waves pretty hard. As Brand in your recent game, he's basically all aoe damage, so you probably couldn't help but hard push to his tower.

There are ways to deal with Nasus, and deal with him hard. Playing squishies that can only poke and not really all in and simply be out-scaled is definitely not the way to deal with him. You want someone who can be consistently aggressive and punishing. Darius is the first option that comes to my mind. Tahm Kench is also kind of turning into a Frog Darius, so maybe even him if Darius gets banned or something.
