Anyone having luck with Lissandra's new changes?

I feel like her burst is too low, her mana costs feel too high, and her passive doesn't actually contribute to her success in her lane, and really only comes online in team fights. But it feels like she strains pretty hard to get to the team fighting phase. To me, she doesn't feel better with the new passive. Anyone having success with the newer Lissandra?

The new passive is late game oriented which is really good right now. Dh into pom is ridiculous. Not to mention her mana costs are actually lower to compensate. Just dont spam abilities

The new passive is amazing and exactly what she needed especially in early 2vs2 with your jungler. It gets even better in mid-late game. It's not about luck. You actively have to watch out for those situations and play around it.

So I'm looking at patch notes and it says Lis has double mana regen growth, higher attack speed (meh), higher speed of her attacks (I actually like this because I'm ass at CSing with mages), her Q has lower costs, her W has a lower cost, her E is faster early on yet still retains the same travel speed...

Considering what you've said, I think that your problem is with your own gameplay. As an occasional Lis player I've never even considered playing around her old passive. I build her around having resources when I need them, so mana deficiency was never a problem. I suggest that you build early mana regen (there's a rune that gives hella mana on kill) and work from there. If I have her, I'll give it a try. If not, I'll...just get her. I haven't seen her played so I think it'll be a great pickup.

Ive been running seraphs into double pen and it feels pretty good. I always try to get max cdr quickly to hit multiple q's in a rotation and throughout a fight. Games dont usually last long enough for 3 full items but im thinking to try liandries after finishing morellos. Dont bother trying for roa it is not worth it.

That was my second item and tbh the health really helps with Lisandra's kit.

I feel shes overdue for an actual rework tbh :/ all champions should be ready minute 1 to kill with ignite :/ since thats what riot wants.

forget mid lane. There's some funky shit going on bot that makes me not play the lane.

Ok, so I bought her and played her, went 10-6-12 and tbh she's fucking strong and I see a nerf in the future.

I didn't have mana issues, but again it's all about the build. I didn't even have mana flow band instead using nullifying orb, and my starting item was that scaling ap with kills thing.

The thing about playing Lisandra is that you shouldn't have mana problems at the start unless you're spamming abilities. That's a no-no. It shouldn't take too long to first-item that book that gives you mana when you level up. At that point, and it's only been maybe 5-10 minutes, you will never have mana problems again if you're pacing yourself.

I think you just made me a Lisandra main, tho lmao

The passive feels like it ties too much of her power to getting kills in team fights, and although I haven't played a ton of her since the update I haven't gotten a lot of use out of the passive when it does proc.
