Hextech Crafting Question: What do *I* do with Blue Essence and Champion Shards?

Greetings,

I have a serious question about Hextech Crafting, but let me give you the background information first.

I own every champion and have more than 400 skins. (This was when I foolishly believed that Riot Games was "all about the players." Good one, Rito. You certainly got me with that one.) I also have more than enough IP to grab every new champ that comes out and play enough games to replenish that IP stock, so I never have to worry about missing a new champion when they're released.

Therefore, Hextech Crafting isn't necessarily going to benefit me that much, especially when it comes to champion shards and blue essence.

So... what do I do with all this blue essence and these champion shards I have no intention of using? Is there going to be a use for this stuff in the near future for those of us that don't really need it?

Also, why do I keep getting skin shards for content I already have? I don't remember the last skin I got from the system except for PROJECT: Fiora during that confusing as all hell event last month.

EDIT: I don't play Ranked, either, so getting levels Mastery levels 6 or 7 is not going to be an option.

EDIT 2: I get that I can play Normals, guys. I was under the impression that Mastery Levels were for "competitive environments," and figured that was Ranked.

You can use blue essence or champ shards to get champions up to mastery levels 6 & 7. Other than that they will do nothing for you.

You can play normals and get champions to level 6 and 7, don't know what are you talking about.

You can get mastery tokens in normals...

The current answer is for getting mastery 6/7 on champs. While you can't earn mastery 6/7 tokens in ARAM or RGMs, normal blind/draft SR is eligible for tokens, not just ranked, so your no-ranked objection isn't really applicable.

They have expressed they want to do more with for players who own all champs eventually, but now that they have some use for everyone (pretty certain no one is rank 7 every champ), it's probably not a high priority.
