Exhaust nerf will only increase aggressive/kill supports

Dont care. Exhaust has been such a broken summoner for so long. Exhaust isnt taken to deal with the support anyway so it won't change much

I ... still don't know his reasoning. The nerfs did nothing but nerf the aggressive support champs since it no longer shreds 10 MR... like... wtf.

What does that have to do with those champions though?

I mean they reworked Aatrox. Careful. Cassiopeia is going to be a new support because of it!!! That's as much sense as it makes to me right now.

Because exhaust is now way worse against adc, who are in the bottom lane? So playing a protective support is most effective with exhaust but now its bad against adcs so no less of a reason to play these supports.

No less reason.. .but no MORE reason. lol Brand/Zyra/Malzahar didn't take Ignite anyway most of the time. I doubt this'll change that. They have an easy enough time killing in lane without Ignite.

Reasoning: Defensive supports had THEIR spell nerfed. Aggressive supports take Ignite and tap your ass repeatedly.

But Aggressive supports like Zyra/Brand/Malzahar didn't take ignite. They took exhaust, and I doubt this nerf will change that. Especially not with assassins still running around which exhaust nerf didn't affect a whole lot. Yi was about the only AA heavy assassin, and he's immune to it most of the time.

It will. They'll just take Ignite, snowball lane, and win before one-shots even happen.

Yi is a skirmisher, not an assassin.

I mean. I won't speak so definitely. We'll see I guess after this patch has been out for a few weeks. Ignite is always been for kill pressure in lane. 10mr/armor isn't much in laning phase, and the 40% isn't as much as either. Ignite is still garbage late, and Exhaust is still going to be way better imo.

Mage supports in general are garbage late in comparison to the more regular picks. They're picked to snowball and gain advantage for the mid game, not the late game.

If Ignite gets a more guaranteed path to that, I imagine they'll take Ignite.

How is that? They took away the MR/Armor shred, so you can no longer exhaust as the enemy champs in order to blow them up easier.

I don't, but I'm just trying to figure out wtf you mean that this is a buff to Brand/Zyra/Malzahar. It's not like beyond 10 MR shred that this will affect those champions at all. They took Exhaust most of the time before, and not ignite.

yes i take exhaust to blow champions up.

more to the point i take exhaust to keep the second champion in the lane from interfering while i blow his ally up.

also to blow assassins up during fights, to blow duelists / divers / melees in general during fights, and generally to make sure any opponent with a /ouplay skill from being able to use it at his good timing.
