Riot, there has to be a better way for a winning team to push their advantage than massive damage

I am constantly frustrated with this game's philosophy of "if you win, you get to win harder and chain kill the other guy so much he can't even play the game". Losing the match is one thing, someone has to lose, that's unavoidable, but why does the losing player have to give up their ability to actually PLAY the game altogether?

The whole package of stats and champion/ability levels gives the victor of a lane duel enough power to control the ENTIRE REST OF THE LANE, and probably even the whole GAME? Why is this considered fair? Why does getting a kill or a gold lead HAVE to reward you with excessive spikes of damage that render the other players gameplay unnecessary and meaningless? Why isn't freedom to push in on towers and push the win condition of the game enough of a reward? Why the HELL does there have to be one fed player dictating how nine other player's match time experience plays out?

I strongly feel like the design overhaul the game needs is to just get rid of the "personal power fantasy" altogether. Stop masturbating player's egos with power spikes and killstreaks. Make winning a lane reward you with the ability to push the win condition, not oppress other players.
