Why is it okay to be toxic about someone picking non meta?
Alright I've always liked to look for unique play styles to find new edges or advantages in the game. Some of them work out incredibly well some of them are on par with other champions.
For instance I love AP shaco support and I often do very well with AP shaco support. To be specific I win lane 90% of the time.
Yet 80% of games in champ select they ban my pick if I show I'm going to be shaco support. If I don't show and pick it then I get "you know you are support right?" and I say "yes I know I main shaco support" or something along those lines. Then I hear "Reporting you", "If you feed I'm reporting", "Omg troll I'm trolling too" and then people intentionally do troll picks. You get into game you do fantastic and you still hear "troll support isn't supporting" or "troll shaco report him"... I can finish game with top damage, top assists, top kills, win lane, have least deaths... And 50% of the time EVEN with all of that EVEN if we win... I have someone saying to report me...
There is no definition of what a support is. Its just someone you take bottom lane to win the lane with. Just we know the support doesn't steal CS from the ADC that is like the only golden rule of the support don't take CS.
Now I get punished for playing non meta champions even if I do well... yet the players who trolled me for playing a champion in a position i love are cheered on...
Please someone explain how this is correct or even fair?
