Game breaking autofill issue in SoloQue

I almost exclusively play SoloQue with my wife, we duo as a (me) Jungle/Mid and (she) a Support/Jungle. 19 out of 20 she gets support and I get either Jungle or Mid, however this comes with a very inconvenient autofill issue.

Every couple of game we get an autofilled player and seeing that she occupies support the autofill role is generally a non ADC player who gets the ADC roles, because ADC is the least wanted role behind Suport.

It is destroying our games, because these games are just recipes for disaster. It's bad enough to have an autofilled support but at least they don't have to worry about the farm mechanic, but autofilled ADC's do and they're terrible at it.

  • They don't know how to farm
  • They have no map awareness because they try to focus on farming but fail at it.
  • They engage at seemingly random moments
  • They position like potatoes
  • And you can forget about nearly any game awareness overall just because they are consumed by the basics of the role they are playing.

This is just another unfair disadvantage we have to suffer through just because we duo like this. I can imagine that solo support players have the same issue aswel, but for us it's making climbing just a lot harder and I just can't see any reason how this is fair.

I can assure you that if it was the exact same situation except your wife was an adc/jg main that mostly got adc (impossible but lets say 19/20; same rate as her now as supp), that the post would be about how awful the autofilled supports are.

No, because everyone has at least some support experience from having played it in the past to get shorter que times or autofilled as support more often than any other roles etc.

I wish that were actually the case. There's a bunch of people whose only experience was Dynamic queue and never supported until the recent autofill changes. Since that was pretty recent most of 'em are either complaining in select or still learning. It should die down eventually, I hope...

In 15 out of 20 games i fill spots In the rest games i get the first priority select cause i filled that many spots

overall i can play any lane, but prefer not to play adc which i get most while filling :D

if you don't like it then tough shit. However if you have a wife and 3 more people you can get any role you want unless you're trying to play normal ranked but then you should be playing flex really if you have a player you know will be online at least. I would be willing to play with you and your wife and I'm sure a ton of others would be too.

In fact I suggest you look for another husband and wife to play with.. you'll be able to invite them to other online games you play as well. From what I hear its quite the experience playing with your wife and another couple.

people don't take that board seriously enough. People don't take flex seriously enough now that I think about it
