grievs checks life steal. botrk checks hp, true dmg checks resistance, shields checks all dmg. nothing in the game except Irelia counters shields so can we get something to complete the triangle of checks and balancing [sg-ahri-1]
Edit: if not a shield penetrator at least an item that steals a 1/3 of your opponents shield upon hit

XElite1091 votesthat's not true that's like saying because blade of the ruin king exist tanks should be tanker. or because grievous wounds exist heals should be stronger. having a versatile option to dealing with your opponent promotes good gameplay and prevents it from being a one sided thing. introducing an item that partially pentrates shields would make it less punishing for champions who don't have shields while still allowing the shield player to still be viable. keep in mind your buying an item that goes into shields. its very niche which means that gold could have been used for other things and would only effect a few to one players at a time. if I can buy a qss for cc why is it I can't buy an item to deal with shields
