Let him have his shine. Riven and vayne have never received nerfs for their obvious overloaded kits, and you never hotfix nerf anybody. This won't be the first time you thought skarner was too strong, and then proceeded to drag him through the dirt and break a couple of his legs and called it a day, making sure that he was 'balanced'. Everyone knows you have absolutely no idea what you're doing when you nerf skarner.

Nobody is complaining about him, although I could tell you who people ARE complaining about. I don't even play skarner.

Leave the damn scorpion alone. He is an example of a champion that ACTUALLY has weaknesses. He cant dance around the map and over walls, assassinate people and dive out.

Look, as much as you hate Riven and Vayne (Which a lot of people do, and it's not hard to make a fair argument that they're obnoxious), Skarner exploding above a 60% winrate immediately after getting his rework is a pretty strong indication that he's probably too powerful.

Though at least you rounded out your argument with the blatantly false "nobody is complaining" claim.

As for why he's likely getting a nearly unprecedented hotfix nerf, riot stated that they actually planned ahead for a possible hotfix day soon in, just in case any of the changes were horrifically off-balance.
