Well after 3 days of grinding I can confirm riot rigs their matchmaking

2 days ago I go on a great streak. Winning a lot and a couple losses here and there. I rank up from s4 to s2 in one day. Now today I get back on and immediately derank back to s3. Now in these games I played that caused me to derank there has been one common occpurence. In every game today someone on my team has stated in chat that they are on a loss streak and are trolling. Riot is trying to prevent me from ranking up further by putting players like this on my team and it is not acceptable to do this. If I deserve to rank up let me prove by playing with players that are not going to intentionally throw my games but with players that want to try and win like I do.

I'm a little confused as to why in this scenario it's possible to have a winning streak with no interference from Riot, but a losing streak is malicious behavior on their part to keep you down?

I know a losing streak sucks, but especially when you are climbing fast you're going to rebound and start losing more if you get too high above where you belong (due to skill differences, not some automated loss system). It's just a matter of statistics. Riot has no reason to meddle in your matchmaking. It's also a lot easier to remember (and blame) other players when you lose than to recognize when they do good, or when you're making the same mistakes.

You probably want to just vent, or maybe to get a response that validates your thread, but I can't really give that to you. I can only assure you that Riot isn't trying to keep you down, that everyone has win and loss streaks, everyone has teammates that do amazing or not so hot, and the only way to improve is to just keep looking at your own play to see where you can improve.

You say riot doesn’t meddle in your winrate but that false. There is zero reason for trolls to be placed on my team 3 games in a row right after I rank up.

Heres the thing when your winrate is above 50% they place you with players with winrates lower than 50% this balances out the teams. So when you first started you had near a 50% winrate give or take a bit and as you won so your winrate obviously increased that lead to you then playing with players with a winrate lower than 50% by the same margin of your winrate being higher than 50% to balance out the game. Once you start getting players with winrates around that much you're more likely to encounter a troll due to the fact that they lose more than they win often.

You just admitted riot rigs matchmaking then. That’s not okay that they do that. It creates and unfair environment for players.

I did and i agree the matchmaking needs work. While its not against you specifically its against players who win more often than lose because they need to keep games balanced and not stomps.

Your conspiracy holds no weight when there are countless streamers/pro players going from Unranked to Master on new accounts every year. When they are in your elo, they are usually already about 30-2 and playing against Diamond players because their MMR gets inflated so quickly. If you are good enough, you would climb like they would. Since you aren't, you are where you belong.
