How does Darius win most top lane matches in today game?

Honest question, I've been getting this response in a lot of Darius threads I have been making and want to know HOW he is winning most match-ups.

And if he is why isn't he played more?

He has the ability to ignore armor, and pull opponents close to him, so that why I personally hate his face lol. Plus his ult... That freaking ult....

you have to admit... it feeeeeels so gooood when you dunk people. Specially with his new skin, makes me want to play him again.

I don't know, you tell me. You look like a Darius main if I've ever seen one. I figure he wins when the enemy champ is melee, doesn't have cc, makes large mistakes, or doesn't have an escape mechanism. Other than that, I have no fucking clue.

The last times I remember playing against Darius I blindly picked Zyra and Kayle top and he couldn't do shit. I farmed out of his range with Zyra and harassed him with plants. He lost pretty hard. With Kayle I just farmed until he grabbed me. Then I'd slow him, heal myself, and auto his ass down. He kinda lost mediocre hard. I mean, what's he going to do ult the Kayle?

Why Darius is inferior at top lane

His Q can chunk a hell lot of HP with his outer part.
Counters lots of melee champs that needs to close onto him to reach him or wanting to cs due to his Q, eg
Has natural armor penetration %, so itemizing against him is pretty difficult.
Has a W slow & pull to make enemies difficult to get away from him.
DAT DUNK

Why isn't he played a lot often around?

No mobility moves. Passive bleed bonus movement speed is hard to notice.
ooms quite easily if he spammed his Q to poke too much, especially with his refreshing dunks.
Does not have much natural lane sustain.
Gets shiet on pretty easily by range sissy champions, such as top lane.

his e also reset his auto attack so if you e immedatly after you auto animation goes off your able to sneak in another auto relatively quickly, so hook-spin-auto-e-auto and like halve their hp is gone early game, not only that but they should have full stacks on from his passive which makes them ripe for maximum dunkage.

however the downside is that like xin in which his early game damage is god like but then goes down the shitter late game. he get rolf kited pretty easily, anything that can out range him or cc him from a safe distance will usually win against him.

this is just what i've heard and seen from other darius players, i personally don't play him so my knowledge on the subject maybe wrong.
