Syndra Buffs did not address her problems

Nobody plays Syndra because her Q damage is too low and her mana costs are too high in laning phase. Neither of these issues were addressed. I would rather give up all the new bells and whistles on her passive for any help in the early game. Plus all the other midlaners got a lot better so relatively speaking, it feels even worse to play as her.

46 percent win rate currently even after "buffs". Has been 46-47 win rate for a year and a half. Apparently most of the player base "doesn't know how to play her" because she loses significantly more games than she wins throughout high and low elo. I don't play her anymore because her laning is garbage.

I think you've got your misunderstanding backwards. Syndra can stack her Q to deal a massive amount of damage. A simple combo involves Q-Throw a Minion-E-R. That's a good chunk of health even if you miss everything within 3 teemos, you'll hit something.

Her skill level is too high for most low elo players and her long and predictable setup to hit her ultimate efficiently with multiple spheres is something that most high elo opponents will easily see coming and avoid. Plus there are just a lot of better options right now. Outside of a rare play from Bjergsen, she is completely absent from LCS play and is rarely played in general. The numbers back up the fact she is underwhelming but if you have any information contrary I would be open to hearing it.

Yes, her combo is easy to see. However, with increased ranges, it's now harder to avoid.

She isn't Q-R to Destroy. but she deals a lot of AoE damage that can be very useful in team fights.

Speeding up Syndra instead of outright buffs would've been better. Also scaling back the range would help. Players, especially new ones, would need to understand that Syndra's strength relies on her weaving her spells. Much like Azir, he has a high skill cap, but the key to him is in spell weaving.
