This has been such an awful feeling change for the last couple of years and really takes a lot of the fun factor from the champ. Nerf everything else in his kit but stop making him have to be a sitting duck when he wants to use armor. If Riot ever put a self imposed slow on Yasuo or Ekko, the fanbase would lose their s$#@.
Gotta agree. Rammus was already not that fun of a champion before this slow. Now he’s just downright not fun to play.
Even tho i'm a Yi main who wishes rammus would burn in hell, i agree that the slow should be removed.
The slow isn't a big deal. You just turn off DBC when you move to chase. It's got a 6s coodown so it's typically up again by the time you want to use it. Typically once the taunt wears off and the target starts moving away is when you toggle it off so you can follow.
What I find infinitely more annoying is getting knocked out of Powerball by CCs. If anything, that's the change I'd want reverted.
It's really not that bad. I mainly use it when clearing or turret diving. In teamfights I don't use it at all until they all try to focus me then I w and crawl away while my team kills them.
hard agree, can't count the number of times i've lost a kill because my ball curl didn't deactivate when i clicked W and i was too slow to nab the last hit on them before they flash over the wall.

Really if anything, what Rammus needs is a faster clear speed. If Spiked Shell (and DBC) dealt bonus damage to neutral targets for example, so that Rammus could have a competitive clear speed and some Dragon pressure, he'd be fine. Even last season he wasn't that bad. But forcing him to farm harder AND adding super important Dragons has sapped a lot of his strength.
