If someone is buying a Sightstone, there's no reason to have the Warding Totem. This is probably the biggest problem I see on Supports and it drives me insane, even more so when no one on a team has an Oracle at all.

Well, by Riot's own standards.. you shouldn't be allowed to carry a lot of wards. That was the entire point of introducing this "limited warding" system to begin with. Removing vision generally is just as important as placing it and you can only place 3 wards at a time. If someone is going to invest in vision, they should be required to commit to it and not half ass spam wards wherever.
I've never seen any streamer or high tier player who carries a warding totem with a Sightstone, or even a warding totem with a Tracker's Knife. It's makes absolutely zero sense to do it, and it's a mistake that only low tier players make.
So tell me, why should those lower down the ladder get punished by auto fill players that don't know anything about support? Almost no one Bronze - Gold is down there maining Support. It makes more sense to just fix the game itself to not allow terrible choices like this, like they did with Tier 1 runes.
Baron Barian1 votesBecause I feel like you can never have too many wards, I find the real problem is getting supports to buy a sightstone in the first freaking place. This I feel would just discourage them even more so.
