Eh, OP is kinda right. She's not overpowered at all, but you kinda just avoid her and every form of interaction with her untill the laningphase is over lol

A lot of champions can find a window to trade while Renektons fury bar is low, or avoid Darius' Q handle to try and outtrade him. Or you can often fight back in a short trade against a lane bully to get the best out of it.

Not with Illaoi tho, just avoid every form of interaction untill the laningphase is over.

If u avoid her Q, she has no form of dmg and sustain besides W, and her tentacles arent TOO hard to dodge. If she uses E u fight her unless there are tentacles near, basically u gotta draw her out and away from her tentacles.

tbh pre-6 you can tunnel vision her Passive tentacles on any ranged champion or champion with an AA reset.

thru, as long as a champ has their counters in some way then they will be healthy, there must always be give and take

and u can do better if u pick a ranged champ with CC, or mobility.

I think Lucian with his passive, w and E would do reall great against her.

People say she falls off after lane phase. Actually, no. She is actually really strong in a siege scenario because she can easily set up multiple tentacles (usually one either side of mid plus her allied tower) and landing an E can do up to something like 55% of your HP + you'd get BC fully stacked on you then inevitably a Jayce/Varus/Jhin W+R follow up.

Illaoi is incredibly underrated because people just see her as a mindless splitpusher.
