Seriously now, I love and have Zac, and I have seen your history after reading one of your threads (you sometimes manage to do well even without flash, respect!) so I know you are good with him, but I don't usually judge people by what they pick even if I don't read their history.

Some people are just too weak to think by themselves and try new champions, were we in the same continent and were I actually good, I wouldn't mind queueing up with you even if we had to go Urgot ADC Swain supp bot lane.

I got the same thing the other day, went Morg mid like I have been a lot recently an Nasus shit on it literally all game saying it was a shit tier pick an Morg should only play support. We all (other team included) had a good laugh at his idiocy the whole game especially when he called us all "dumb cuntsacks" haha.

Zac's kit is well balanced, and very fun. But, his passive sucks balls.... Compare it to Anivia, or Aatrox, and he has the very weakest of the three. He can get up to half his life, taking x4 the amount of AoE damage. He also gets half his resistances. HALF. Anivia gets minuses that slowly turn into buffs later in game. Up 100% of her HP all her resistances and a few other rant numbers I would need to wiki for.

Is Zac's passive gimpped because he builds tanky? I build fairly tanky on Anivia. Even as a mage.

Poppy is inherently broken but there's a reason why she isn t played competitively.

She has a long ramp up time and an organized team can play around her ultimate.

Yeah. She has lots of counterplay in ways different that other champions. She's kinda like a Nasus without the lifesteal and crippling slow called cripple (I hate Nasus in every way -_-). Playing against her, you need to work as a team to get objectives before her power ramp, so you can still be ahead when it happens, and considering the new Dragon this has gotten even easier this season. She isn't however like a champion that you can counterplay in a way of dodging skillshots and such, yet you still can stay away from walls. She's kinda like veigar, which Riot ended up gutting, so I hope they won't gut her in her future rework like him.

Poppy is weak against true damage, as she doesn't really have the sustain or tankiness against it, especially early on. Darius, for example, is a hard Poppy counter.

Can you please tell me what you do? I used to love Zac jungle but I can't seem to do well with him anymore. Like, he's an hp tank, and hp% shred is everywhere, and I have one engage that the league of mobility just avoids, and I tried going ap but died right away, and I go squish, and I'm dead, and I just feel like he's not as good in solo q, idk. Starting Jungle Route / Gank Patterns:

Krugs, Red, Blue, Gromp, Scuttle, Wolves, Raptors
Gank mid from raptors
Gank top from the V shaped wall next to blue sides tri bush if on red side, or the big blocky wall on red side if on blue.
Gank bot the same as top

Itemizing:

Cinderhulk with Blue Smite
Mobo's with homeguards / Mercs if they have hard cc.
Randuins / Visage
Rylais / Liandries IF AHEAD
Warmogs
Iron Elixer
GA If carrying
Smite / Exhaust OR Smite / Flash for summs. Take exhaust against Zed / Ahri / Kat / Bursty champs.

Combos:

E into a lane to gank, smite the laner whilst flying to them in the air, and W Q Ult them as soon as you land. Exhaust them if they are bursty.
E into a team, exhaust the carry, W, Q, Ult, and then E again to clean up.

Tips

Gank from unpredictable angles. Keep track of where people ward.
Take advantage of your passive to tower dive at early levels.

Zac has one of the lowest winrates in the game. I understand why they'd be annoyed but if you win that often with him just try to reassure them and go like usual.

Actually his win rate is very close to 50% now because of the buff to his knockup and the release of Cinderhulk. He's even seen significant pro play recently (by which I mean two people have played him multiple times in LCS).

I was Garen. I get reactions like that a lot when picking slightly out of meta but still working. People are way too hung up on this pro scene thing. Like if they don't do it first, it's not a thing and not possible. Bullshit. I like unusual picks and having more options.

You like picking non-meta champs because you don't mind playing something that is less effective objectively than the meta champs, and because you fulfill a pathological need to be different from others by doing so. Don't pretend you're some guy who's just keeping it real and playing 4 fUnz.

I mean really. Only Leona is weird in top lane. The other 3 have had their time in top, and Urgot is good in top right now.

The "support" champs you list all suck as support, because they need items to succeed. Yasuo is going to explode in teamfights. Trundle and Sejuani have low damage, and will not survive teamfights to do much. Shen and Gangplank, and to a lesser extent Lissandra, have been played but not to any better effect than real supports like Leona, who are always relevant regardless of income. Singed is just straight up irresponsible, with your poisons fucking up the minion waves, and putting yourself in excessive danger without truly reliable cc.

ADC Jayce? Just play top or mid. His range is balls, his kit is caster-based, not auto-attack based. Like his kit wants you to cast from afar and then go in with the hammer, which an ADC should never do. He won't survive, having built no bruiser items, should he go in. If he pokes with abilities, then he's still better off with other items. It's just pointlessly limiting.

But that's okay, because you're a guy who doesn't follow the meta and really wants to show your individuality. That would be wonderful if it weren't the goal of every fedora-wearing scrublord who only thinks of himself and never his place on the team. Consider that this is a team game, and that you're deliberately diminishing an aspect of your team's presence by being less useful than you could be.

People hate you in champ select because they see you as a liability, and have no indication that you aren't a complete idiot. Furthermore, they feel upset that the time they've put into understanding this game is shit on by you and your "troll picks". I get that overly negative reactions are uncalled for, but you're inviting them, and you lack empathy.

You make a lot of negative assumptions about me, while you know nothing about me. You should tone down the toxic excretions, mate. It's not flattering, and not helpful.

I'm also going to add that in the vast majority of matches, I play meta or viable picks. I'm not always feeling like doing something more unusual or experimental. I never play unusual picks in Ranked, either. And while sometimes my picks aren't appreciated, in many cases they are accepted. Heck, we even win. If it works, it works, regardless of how "meta" or "optimal" the picks are. On top of that, you are forgetting that in the right hands, even an off-meta pick can perform amazingly. Champion select is not the deciding factor.

To name a few examples, I helped Teemo wreck the enemy as support Trundle, I wrecked the enemy as ADC Jayce, as jungle Garen, heck I 1vs1 Yasuo as top Leona and wrecked him, too. I wrecked them as ADC Urgot with a Gangplank support. And hell, I main Shen. As such, I can easily top, support and jungle with him. Heck I could even mid Shen, esp vs Zed or Yasuo.

These experiments are not blindly done, either. I know what I'm doing, I have done my research. "Just because you can, doesn't mean it's a good idea". I know that. Take my Wind Wall support Yasuo for example. Great support if used right, but not as useful against certain enemy champs such as Alistar, Leona, and Vayne. Knowing that, I'd never pick him against a comp like that. I'm also fully aware that WindWall 'suo has a much steeper learning curve, and requires better timing and positioning than most other champions. Is he the best support? No. Is he the worst? No. He's situational, with a longer time to master.

As for your concerns, Jayce is incredibly powerful and versatile even as ADC, despite his lower range and lacking sunfire cape or whatever, and I do use my AD Bruiser masteries, which in my case means he's still just as powerful, but with a bit more health and sustain, and a bit less movement speed. Success as ADC Jayce: 19+ kills, only a few deaths, in Normal. And Sej is a goddamn CC tank. Not much damage? Sej does great, and since when do supports need tons of damage? Their job is to assist the ADC, help them get kills, by protecting the ADC and/or making life miserable for the enemy, typically with CC. That's exactly what Sej is really good at doing, and surving it, too. I know, because I have done it successfully. You, however, will probably claim it was "noob luck" and because the enemy team sucked. And Singed, no, I don't poison minions and steal all the ADC's cs. I use my W, E, and R, and only activate poison when I know it will affect an enemy champion.

As for items, a support isn't defined solely as "doesn't need items". It helps, sure, but that doesn't mean that other support champions automatically suck. Maybe they start at a disadvantage, which is a factor, but not a deciding one. I'm fully aware that, for example, Shen starts off rather squishy, but once he gets some health and armor, he can really perform quite amazingly. It's a noticeable improvement. Though, you must be one of the players who will rage and queue dodge as soon as someone does not pick the champion you want them to pick.

If I really were as horrible as you claim, I'd go support Yi or support Vayne. But I don't. I do not play League with the selfish intention of trolling or trying to ruin it for everyone else. I play to win, and to have fun doing it. I'm versatile, I'm open minded, and simply do not enjoy playing as the same 8 or so champs every match because they are generally regarded as "best meta". Off-meta picks do not automatically equal "trash", or players being a "troll" or "noob" or whatever.

Also, I care not about expressing individualism, or being some hipster who simply needs to be different. I'm not a highschool emo/goth/whatever teen. That's 15-20 years behind me already, thank you. I am, however, a very creative guy, and I enjoy exploring every aspect this game has to offer, but I would never do so for selfish or harmful reasons. In the end, we all like to win. I'm no exception. I can win with uncommon picks just as easily as with meta picks. That doesn't warrant hate. If anything, it's an accomplishment. I once lost bot lane to a Sion and Evelynn combo. Doesn't make me or them noobs. I applaud and respect their gutsy move, which obviously had success.

Not that I expect this to make any difference to you, however. You sound very rigid in your belief of "current meta or gtfo scrub", and your behaviour towards me is quite toxic, at best. Especially when you started to attack me as a person multiple times, all over a difference in opinion. Using terms like "pathological", "selfish", "lacking empathy", and more of such general slander. That, old chap, is simply going too far. If anyone here is selfish and lacking empathy, it is you, for acting toxic, and acting like your opinion is perfect and anyone who doesn't agree or do what do you, is an idiot who should off themselves.

I'm just going to write this off as you having a personal problem with off-meta picks, rather than a direct issue you have against me, since you have zero knowledge of me at all. Still, even if I wasn't the reason for your rage, you still attacked me, and that is never okay, for any reason. Especially because I did not provoke you, and I did not deserve your scorn. I'd advise you to improve your behaviour while on League's website, boards, or in game. If you keep this up, you are going to be reported a lot, and eventually, you will be banned. not to mention that tank junglers are getting some steam back with recent patches. I was even told when the new jungle first came out that it was easier for champs with a heal of some sort. don't know if it's still true since that was months ago, but I would assume that it still applies.

I honestly don't know why he's a non meta champ, the last thing he got was a buff in season 4 and he recently got another buff too, season 4 he was my highest win rate jungler that tied in with shyvana and maokai, just cause I had so much cc and sustain, but of course I was useless if my team was behind, since not having a lot of damage, you'd just hope for you team to kill them while you cc them for a heck ton. Also Zac jungle has amazing ganking ability, I still feel he has one of the best ganking ability as a jungler out there since he can do it in so many ways with his e
