I'm a Malz mid main and I am happy when I see an enemy go adaptive helm. Because it sucks. Sure it helps a bit against me but is a net benefit for my team. It's like a few seasons ago when everyone on the other team including AP champs would build QSS against me. Sure it helps but it really sets you back and isn't efficient at all.

Okay? but i thought this was about Dorans shield doing more than Adaptive helm, I understand Adaptive helm is good against sustain damage champs. But the OP is saying that Dorans shield does the same thing if not better.
