Why is Garen allowed to have that much damage and tankyness at the same time? He deals damage like fighter while having 4k hp? I see that wrong. If you don't focus Garen he annihilates your entire team, and if you focus him its simply wrong because he has 4k hp pate game lol. I barely see Garen loosing top against any melee aaaaand most top laners are actually melee..
Play Garen for a few days, you'll see why he is allowed to be like that real quick.

There is the problem. If you do focus him he does nothing, and melts to adcs and penetration just like every other bruiser in the game. He also offers nothing to a team outside of damage, so in the worst case scenario he's just dead weight.

He onoy has two options for damage:
garen player builds AD. You ahve nothing to complain about there.
you happen to be the villain, so his ult, and ONLY his ult, gets extrabonus damage on you. its pretty obvious when you are the villain. runa way from him if you are.
Simple. no problem there.
