Want tanks to be played more? Don't blame ranged champs.

Seriously, why do people want to make "dem evil ranged champs abusing muh itemz" the scapegoat for everything?

It's not like melee only is going to solve any actual problems, btw. But as of now, I don't see much problems.

ADC - Ez is now highest playrate - aka, not much damage is going to be coming from that lane. Lucian is #2, and pen/BC is becoming less common now., more triforce and bork. Jhin #3, but he is hardly a tank killer. Meanwhile, MF and Varus at a measly 6.5% playrate, y'know the MF that people complained about doing too much damage to tanks.

Jungle - only ranged ad in meta is graves, and he barely plays like a ranged.

And now we come to top lane, where the tanks are usually played. Most played? Riven, you know the champ that can build full penetration and has endless damage because of how spammable her abilities are, so not like she is reliant on burst. Number 2? Fiora, no explanation needed about how she plays vs tanks. #3? Renekton, who now builds BC and wrecks your team with armor reduction.

Ranged in top lane? Only jayce, and his playrate is #10.

Also don't worry mid lane is all AP except for zed and talon.
