Can we agree that the new Mastery Tree for Season 6 didn't hit the mark?

The keystones were somewhat fun at the beginning, but now they're coming off as gimmicky and still haven't fully been balanced to deal with the champions it completely broke.

The ability to split points between the 5 is COMPLETELY useless. 100% underwhelming mechanic compared to the old "Pick what you want" system, and no one does it.

There's actually way less mastery diversity than the old tree had. Everything feels surprisingly more static, and there's way less decisions to make and fun ideas to try.

The tree is completely filled with non-decisions. Yeah, I'll be sure to take slightly increased base health regen That increases under 25%, a level of health you'll be dead at before it's used because damage is so out of control over 15% summoner spell cooldown. Come on now.

At this point I'd much rather just have the old mastery tree back, and have them put all the tweaking effort in to runes. That way maybe the other 80% of runes other than the basic stat ones might actually be used.

i think season 6 was a fail in general... the reworks, the masteries, etc they tried alot of new things and it didnt work

Couldn't agree more. To me it seems like defensive stats are almost irrelevant and have been completely outpaced by sustain, damage and CC.
