When someone says "x season was the best ever!!!"

are they just looking at that season through nostalgia goggles because the game was new to them still/rather new?

I mean, to me seasons 1/2 were the best because i started at that era, and the game was like crack to me, and every season since then has just been me "going through to motions" so to speak. I feel this is the way alot of people are, mainly because every new season is "the worst one ever."

the games kinda still like crack, except it's only withdrawal symptoms while playing

idk.

Thoughts from someone who started inlike season 1-2 and feels 4/5 are the best?

I started in early season 3 and to this day I still feel that season 5 has been the best. It had the most champion diversity by far.

at what point did you start to feel like a "competitive" player

keep in mind the grind to 30 took you months, and then just "learning" the game at that point

I say season 2 was the best but that was still when I was learning and season 4 was the second best by which time I had a fairly good understanding of a lot of the game.

I would gladly take either returning then what the game is currently.

Not really. Season 3 and 5 were good. Season 4 and current suck dick.
