I haven't run into spawn camping, but tanky bruisers is definitely a great way to go in this mode. It's just too difficult being a squishy mage or long range champ due to the lack of visibility.

There's no reason a team should be able to spawn camp in Ascension. You know what camp the enemy are at if they're camping and there are three places you can spawn from. On top of that, if you die later than the enemy team then you're ahead in items. You must have terrible team comps if you're losing to people who are comfortably behind you in items and you're not capable of 1. picking a different spawn pad or 2. coordinating your team spawn so you don't spawn 1v4.
