your job isnt to dive the enemy team to kill their adc or mid, your job is to stay in the back line killing who ever the fuck you can SAFELY, (preferable the one that is on you face) dont flash in the middle of their team and get bursted and complain about no peel... as support i protect you but i wont and cant if you dive so hard every chance you get

the one that actually knows what they're doing
the one stays in the frontline thinking hes a tank. dies instantly.
the one stays so far back doing no damage waiting for his team to die on engage. then still dies.
and my favorite and special kind are the ones that roam in the enemy jungle on their own for some reason and get killed by a fed assassin.
The thing is, if your adc is bad, the enemies proobably is too.

Lemme put it this way... I usually play ADC, but when I announce it...my Go-To champ gets banned. When I say I'll roam, they demand I play a 1 trick pony like Lux...yea, no. I usually like going Bot and the role of support or ADC can vary between either of us on the lane. But! I've had idiot ELO's demand I stay back and do nothing but look pretty...the fuck? You want my disables popped on your KILLS, then you stfu and lemme attack!
I played ONE match as thresh...and the idiot elo's i was running with (3 gold 1 silver) >.< their JG kept feeding...top was getting humiliated by constantly getting ganked by mid, and our mid would sit under tower thinking he was gonna be safe from ganks...HA! Tower Diving Tank = Wrecked. Here I am at the bot with a jhin...as thresh... (the hell was I thinking...?)
No... Just...NO! I've leashed our enemy a few times...AND THIS FOOL DIDNT ATTACK THEM!!!! He let the support drop my HP down so low I'd have to abandon him to heal to prevent feeding...then this fool TOWER DIVES and gets trashed!
Yet, I get blamed for the whole match being a loss... So much for Golds and a High Silver knowing what the hell they're doing! I swear, some golds need to go back to Intro level bots and retrain...for the love of all that is unholy in Demacia! [slayer-jinx-unamused]
Safety > picking the right targets. Leave that up to your midlaners, whose job is to either dish out as much damage as possible, or kill priority targets as quickly as possible. Or even your tanks, they can stop priority targets from shooting you.
Yes, shoot the tank if he's in your face, nothing is worse than putting yourself into danger when you can do that later.
