It's annoying because the runes alone are enough to murder. On bottom lane I keep getting lvl 30 ranked against me, and they just zone me, keep me from cs while my support is level 10. Matchmaking is having a bad time atm...

They may be invited to play with their low rank friends. Annoying, but also annoying for everyone who wants to play for their low level/rank friends.

You also don't get better by being rofl-stomped by enemies who are hopelessly better than you. I mean, I could be the hell out of a 5 year old, but that won't make the kid a better boxer.

Not a parallel argument because everyone has the same tools to work with in League, while a 5 year old is clearly at a physical disadvantage to an adult.

And having a professional boxer beat on someone with similar physical capabilities would probably teach them quite a bit.

I disagree, the pro boxer will knock you out so fast you won't learn a thing let alone remember.

I do agree though that playing people better than you, even those that are far better, will help you improve. That is if you are truly trying to improve. Its all about analyzing what you did wrong and stop blaming others. If you can do that then you will get better. We all get bad team matchups that make you want to punch someone. Those games where you are doing good but you just aren't doing as good as your teammates are doing bad. Its frustrating but you still need to look at your part and figure out what you could have done better to help the team.

People that are in your games that are level 30 tend to leave the "low level braket" quite quickly. Mostly because their normal mmr is so low that it treats them as never played the game before that point.
