Overall Mentality seems weak

In the future looking back can we just call it the Tilt Meta?

I don't want to make this sound like I think there is a massive majority. If i used numbers from gut instinct then i guess id use 5-20% range of players. Still enough to show up pretty often due to the game being 10 player matches.

Well yeah. That happens in a game where 20-30 minute games are decided at the 6 minute mark, and comebacks are so rare you can hardly even hope for one.

I wont claim all games are winnable but alot of what I experience is games end at 6 min becuase some asshole mentally afks over nothing. Then just goes thru the motions to avoid leave buster and spam /ff and spam negativity in chat.

My view is rolling over is about the same impact as rage quitting/afking. Some times worse as they eat gold folks trying to play need.

I'm not impressed when toxic players call a loss correctly because Its pretty easy to make a loss prediction into reality when your playing to lose. Low effort.

Dont mind if a team agrees its over. Do actively and vocally opposed the selfish pos players who throw due to ego trips.

Except that’s the thing. One kill and your lane is over and decided. You can no longer outplay the opponent and hope to get the edge. You have to pray someone helps you. And that just further extends the lead the winning player will get.

The game is basically decided by the number of lanes that have won. Scaling doesn’t happen. Outplays don’t happen. It’s just get ahead, then go through the motions of closing the game out.

-shrugs- Not much of a conversation to have here. I don't find it impossible to recover from 1 death, I also frequently observe others do it. I don't have any way to reconcile with you on the topic. Your claim demands I ignore reality simply because your saying its so. If your behavior is to give up after 1 death your exactly the kind of player I am calling out with this thread.

Learning how to play from behind was one of the skills I had to learn. Losing lane with grace, don't bleed out gold, Bide for a power spike, know your counters and know matchups. This is a form of skill expression. If you can only win lane because you snowball vs some one who cant recover, your a weaker player. If you only win because every teammate does better, your a weaker player because your impacts not standing out.

Getting stuck is frustrating, when some one as good as you is ahead its hard. You should aim to improve and learn from those games. Figure out how to get back into the match. Roll over and force a loss for your team just makes you a shit teammate.

I am not in your games, I have no data on your playstyle or if you still strive for a win. I don't know if your able to lose lane with grace or what your knowledge is. The results should be clear in your history imo and if your struggling in your MMR then you likely belong there.

End of the day, If you want to quit after 1 death don't fucking play league, your mentality is just weak ,your ambition to win is lacking ,and your awareness of the game is terrible.

True, and 5-20% sounds about right. Even folks who mentally give up and start playing worse are part of the problem, makes comebacks even rarer.

I've had teams that were only threeish kills and a tower down and had folks surrender and int, even with incredibly late scaling comps such as: Jinx Thresh Kayle Kassadin Jax

People are frustrated at how unsatisfying playing the game can feel right now.

It is, sadly, natural to blame other players, we don't like to focus on our own failings. You cannot change other players, therefore you simply tilt, rage, and leave.

League never had a particularly mature playerbase in the first place, the game was simply less suffocatingly snowbally, and fights were slow enough that folks could figure out what the hell they coulda done differently.
