If you aren't dpsing as adc, you are basically useless.

tl:dr ADC did dmg and killed after=good ADC did no dmg and survived=bad

It doesn't matter how much farm.you got, doesn't matter how you never died in lane, doesn't matter how strong your item.spike is, if you aren't dpsing on the enemy during a teamfight you are comoletely useless to the team and contributes nothing dor example: That 0/6 malphite who is able to land 3man ultimate isn't the cause of the fight loss, the adc who is suoer scared and refuse to dps is the reason a teamfight is loss.

so adcs out there, srop being a p***y and actually do some dps.

Edit: salty adc mains stop brainlessly downvoting leave a comment if you want to argue.

Just wanted to say that I first read the title as, "If you aren't dying as adc...." Initial wtf ensued.

But your actual point is valid. Even if they just auto the frontline who's in their faces, it's better than nothing... and sometimes the best COA, depending.

And even if enemy zed and zac dive you every time and kill you... at least that keeps them from doing other things during that time. If you can stay safe while DPSing, great, do that. But if you'll die if you try to DPS in a fight.. you still have to go into your AA range, dead ADC on whom CDs were blown is still better than ADC that doesn't affect the fight.

from my perspective as a support player, here is how i see things:

there are two types of ADC players. one player has 500 HP and either MR or armor in their build, and the other one does not.

you have a the BV / randuin's omen? you will survive the initial of an enemy assassin. After the initial my stun / exh can land on the assasssin and your lifesteal / damage alongside mine can counter-delete mr. zed.

you don't have said items? you're dead before i can respond. there's no sense in me positioning to defend you or burning any of my skills on said effort.

I stopped playing ADC in ranked, even though it's my main role, solely due to the fact that I will get zero to no peel in teamfights. Sure, I'm low elo, but if you're not going to zone for me and give me the time I need to shred people then there's no point in me even being in the game. (Not saying I leave/dc/afk or anything, it's that I just feel completely worthless when their Olaf ults and beelines straight for me while the rest of my team cirklejerk each other.) That's why I switched to top. Doing my best to peel for the other ADC mains. ;P

When I play Sivir, I'm not terribly great at getting kills, but I split push like a mofo. Team fights tend to disperse once towers start to fall on opposite ends of the map (thanks R!).
