Why is Kha'zix's damage front loaded into one ability?

Honestly, what i think of him... he's boring to play.

I wish he could have more skill expression. Maybe spread his damage across his entire kit... make his e and w have actual meaningful damage and not just to do that last 5% of health after deleting their health bar with q. maybe if his w held more power in his kit, dodging it would literally mean a lot and he would have a lot more healthier counterplay and better skill expression. It feels like he has 3 pure utility abilities, a semi strong empowered AA and one pointclick damage ability that packs the punch of 4.

He's a very strong pick right now, i don't doubt that, but right now imo, he just dumb to play and dumb to play against.

Isolated target routinely does 1.5k damage. Yeah i would say that in 1 ability

The big prerequisite was "is the target isolated" - talking specifically about Q, and only his Q.

It's to help teach you target selection for an assassin. Helps you realize that going in against a team 1v5 is probably not the best for an assassin.

Pretty much everyone can be dumbed down so simply though to make it sound 'dumb to play and dumb to play against'.

But out of 1500 hp a squishy has, Khazix's q legitimately does like 1200 damage hitting 2 times.

There's not much more to it.... I'm not saying every assassin should be like zed and katarina... but come on...

It's comparable to having garen as #1 top pick..... being an easy champion..

Khazix is one of the strongest junglers right now and he literally does not have to do much other than go in on whoever's isolated and who ever's not, stay away.

I just wish there was more skill expression on a champ this strong.

Since it is a teaching passive, why does it do extra scaling damage and slows? Think of it this way, you are at maths class and the teacher to help you, gave you A+ on a assignment where you just wrote your name on. Same thing actually.

I think your example leaves much to be desired. If you want to use that comparison, use it with assists, becuase that's you putting your name down. Think about it. If you don't write your name down on your assignment, you get 0 credit. Writing you rname down gives you access to the grade your paper got. It's not 'A+ for writing your name down.'. Isolated is more like 'extra credit questions'.

Why does a teaching ability do anything extra? Because what's the point if it's trying to get you to do / learn something to not do something extra on the thing you should do. It has to incentivize the behavior in some respect to get you to do it.
