are all incredibly strong right now and we're already strong before runes reforged to. The second a champion like Yasuo or Riven or Fiora go below 48-49% every top laner posts like there is a bruiser holocaust going on.
Do you have any idea how long champions like Ryze or Azir sat at 43-44%? How many other champions are in far worse situations and have been since last season?

If you consider Pantheon a fighter(which he is) with his ranged Q spamming in lane, Jayce is absolutely no different and just because he has a ranged formed doesn't mean he isn't a melee fighter.....

pantheon is an assassin. jayce is a marksman.
there are 2 strong fighters with yorick and xin at the moment. the rest of the entire class of fighters is either barely ok, or gets shit on.
archerno12 votesWell when people say "fighters", they mean overall category. Of course there are few niches that work. But things like Jax, Riven, Irelia, Fiora, Darius, Garen, Aatrox, Camille, Illaoi, Lee Sin, Olaf, Renekton,Tryndamere, Trundle, Volibear, Vi, Wukong all get shit on in laning phase and outscaled hard by tanks late game. As for Pantheon, he is only good in laning phase, later he is shit.

archerno11 votesThats true, Jayce has to land skillshot, Pantheon is point click. Jayce has low base damage,high mana cost but high scaling. Pantheon has high base damage and low mana cost, but low scaling. Pantheon is far stronger fighter than Jayce on laning phase but Jayce outscales him.
But they both are same category: FIGHTERS if u look at their profile
But with new categorization Jayce is actually placed in Artillery mage category while Pantheon is Fighter Diver category
