Ever Hard Carry A 4v5 And Win?

League of Legends Match History

Just played a game that was going absolutely horrible but I managed to truly hard carry and win it. Yeah it was only a normal game but my God it felt amazing to win after 50 long minutes of battling in a 4v5. Our Kha had basically given up and was passive-aggressive inting (jumping into enemy team 1v4 even though we would ping him back.) The Kassadin AFKed. Our top laner was an on-hit Bard who got his ass kicked in laning phase by the Rumble (though he definitely peeled like crazy for me in the late game.) Multiple times our team tried to surrender and thankfully my Lulu believed in me and said no.

21/5/12 (6.6 KDA), 477 CS (9.7 CS/min), 83% kill participation, S+. The only thing that I'm pissed off about: Bard took the last kill that would have given me a Penta.

This game was some of the most fun I've had in a long, long time. It reminded me why I fell in love with this game and why I've played it longer than I've played any other game. I'd love to hear some similar stories people have.

Sadly I cannot contribute; I cannot remember the last time I won a 4v5.

Yep, winning a 4v5 is just a special kind of satisfying...also, I've lost a few 5v4s which made me sad (sad because those were lost on account of salty teammates giving up and playing like tards on purpose).

I did it back in the olden days of LoL when ADCs could actually carry. I was playing Vayne and I teamed with a diamond Karthus and two tanks Chogath Garen playing for the university LoL tournament.

Our 5th didnt show so we had top Karthus, mid Vayne, and bot lane two tanks. I miss those days of LoL.

its only possible when riot does a really bad job at matchmaking... if the teams are actually EVEN. in a 5v5.. your not going to carry a 4v5.

sadly... riot matchmaking gives unbalanced games so often that this is actually possible more than than it should be.

but to win a 4v5 the ENEMY team has to REALLY screw up.

It was actually pretty even teams. 3 Silvers and 2 level 30s on my team versus 1 Gold, 3 Silvers and 1 Bronze on their team. The enemy team definitely didn't push their advantage which is probably why they lost. They pushed into our base multiple times but they were never able to kill me with our Lulu and Bard peeling for me. I just itemized so the Rumble and Aurelion Sol couldn't 1 shot me and then all I had to worry about was Lee Sin trying to Insec me.

Winning fights 4v5 is definitely possible even in a balanced match. Just look how often it happens when no one is actually AFK and just "AFK Farming" on the other side of the map and yet the 4 members of his team still somehow manage to win 4v5.

No, the problem is winning them by enough margin to then take objectives and win the game. Most often you win 4v5 by 3 kills to 5, so yeah, you won, but your sole remaining member can't do anything while you waiting for respawn. THAT is hard as fuck, and so winning a whole game 4v5 is hard, especially when you get to higher ELOs. But in lower ELOs where everyone plays Team Deathmatch and doesn't think about controlling objectives, it's still quite doable, even in balanced matches.

Did this a few times last season with full AP Udyr split pushing before they nerfed AP Udyr's turret damage and split push to the ground. Good times. Rip Udyr
