What if Aurelion players could control the orbits of their stars?

Like how Twisted Fate players can pick which card they want to use, or how Warwick players can choose to dash to an enemy or hold to dash and stick onto the enemy, why not allow Aurelion players to control the orbits of their stars?

Maybe include it as a feature of Celestial Expansion, tap it once to send it to the outer limit as it currently does, hold it to decrease the distance of the orbit while maintaining the same effect?

It'd allow Aurelion players to choose between dealing damage from more safely at a distance, or getting more directly into the thick of it as a battlemage, and allow for more playstyles for Aurelion players.

Part of mastering aurelion sol is learning to keep the exact distance to be safe and deal damage at the same time. I dont like this idea.

It'd change a pretty significant amount, if you ask me. The ability to control the orbit would allow you to play more around enemy champion ranges, and would also make it more fun as an ability imo.

Just make their orbiting speed scale with his Attack Speed

And maybe clicking the passive icon changes their orbit from counterclockwise to clockwise.
