why is this shit Annie not gutted yet? Oh i forgot i should buy 4 mr items to not die to her and i'm stupid if i have only one magic resist item to counter her. Also i'm bad for not dodging her insta stun nuke that is aoe. Guess then you should also buy 5armor items to counter assasins too. make it fair no? why should they be changed and take more time to do dmg when your adc can build 5 armor items? me no understando me confusionn lego mechanicsz too hurd4me.YEH this is a rant because i'm tired of annie forcng me to buy 3 mr items just to stay alive and do some dmg

Edit: I know people are gonna bring up Syndra and call her more retarded than Annie but before you do that keep in mind Annie spells are pretty much instant apart from Q which doesnt matter since it's an undodgeable spell you litterally cant do anything except shielding it. Her W is also an aoe insta cast spell with no time frame to be dodged once she is in range for it. ALso her ulti is an aoe insane burst stun that poops out a pet with a sunfire that procs spell effects( w/e you call them ) and it's tanky af and has a movespeed boost. Also another thing Annie's build makes her TOO fucking tanky to oneshot after early game so her so called counterplay beeing oneshot her as she flashes doesnt work snce you have to burn trhough 3k hp. Now for syndra her entire kit is telegraphed as fck and has cast times like her W you can see when he picks up somethign and move to sidestep her Q is also easy to dodge and her E requires to hit aball at least early it's not easy since she wont have that many balls unless she ults Now her ulti is indeed cancer but you have at least one second to shield or use an immunity spell on yourself unlike annie which is instant. that is all enjoy the salt. if anyone want's chips message me

I hate when I see a nice constructive title, click on it, and immediately regret the decision.

move along then.

Because according to Riot the game needs at least ONE braindead easy cancer nuke or else a lot of Champions lose their counterplay.

It's a disgusting excuse they use to keep themselves from actually working on horribly designed characters.

Because Annie is a heavy counter to mobility.

Honestly I don't know why Riot doesn't really nerf Annie, but she's not really a massive problem in the game despite her playstyle and cheap price. You'd think she'd be pick ban, but she isn't.

yeah because you can counterpick her in lane and bully her but not every damn champ in the game has the luxury of heavily outranging her and beeing able to work around her insane burst.

...so? That's like saying not every champion can 1v1 Yasuo in melee to argue that he's overpowered.

Different champions have different strengths and weaknesses.

I'm not saying Annie isn't stupid. She's probably near the bottom of the VGU priority list. But arguing that not everyone has a fair chance against her is dumb since that's the case with a lot of champions.

Annie counters short range more than she counters mobility

she is a glaring example of hypocrisy in Riot's quest for "healthy" gameplay. If melee assassins need to have delayed spells and larger burst windows, then Annie needs to get the same treatment

Well her kit is very telegraphed and her short range makes champions like Yasuo cry.

I'm not arguing she's ok. I'm saying that she's not as big an issue right now to warrant a full on gut.

People prefer flashier champions and another thing that keeps her from being picked as often as Syndra or Viktor is range. Sure Protobelt helps fix that, along with Mobis, but its a lot easier to just sit back and do damage.

I've noticed that her E has a surprisingly high amount of damage reduction on her to compliment her short range. Was that always a thing?

It was a part of her rework, before her rework she just received resistances. So after the rework you could say that she benefited a lot, especially with penetration being in abundance.

Ah. I guess it is supposed to help her battle mage gameplay. Still surprising when I saw it.

Annie fills a niche next to ryze that makes her very good against mobile squishy damage dealers. That said, that niche is cancerous, and Riot needs to reconsider making all her spells undodgable.

Her W is dodgeable actually. It's a short range cone.

Unless she horribly misses, I've never dodged one. The only telegraphed part of her kit is her stun, the rest I just see fire and its too late. I've had the same issue predicting cass's ult.

Which honestly is most important thing to be telegraphed.
