We need more reliable and viable Support Lane Bullies. Currently, most Supports are just made to make sure their weak early game ADCs never die and not vice versa. We need more super aggro Supports so people think twice about picking the likes of Twitch, Tristana, and other hyper carries. Currently, we don't have many of those that are viable throughout all levels of play.

Aimléss1 votesThen you don't play bot lane enough. Poke isn't the only thing that makes you a lane bully. Try playing a squishy enhancer vs a blitz lane. He ends up completely controlling the lane.

Some ways to do it include slowing enemies first, hiding in a bush, and using creep block to your advantage (although, this pushes lane so you need to be extra careful). Casting it from a position that makes the enemy hard to avoid is also part of the skill cap.
That said, landing it on mobile champions is near impossible without another CC.

Escheton1 votesIt's not about landing a Q, it's about landing 1 and using the threat of another to zone them off creeps by constantly just blatently walking up to them.
Or winding it up knowing fully well they will dash out of it. But given that means that dash is then on cooldown, you control the lane.
I find Sion to be more about forcing behavior than setting things up or peeling. Even if he does that very well.

If they coexist to keep each other in check, both become much more interesting and healthy.
Note - doesn't need to be poke Mages like Zyra and Brand. Remember a day when 
Support would actually rush Sunfire Cape to all in the enemy really early on? That sort of bully would be enough to keep hyper carries in check.

Playing Leona into a hyper carry would be like picking Pantheon into Nasus; your goal is to snowball laning phase and dominate before the hyper carries reach their power spikes.
