What unintended mechanic? Animation cancelling? Do you even know how hard that is pull off and perfect? Do you know how often it's even used? Many, if not most Riven mains don't even know about it and even the ones who do know about it don't use it as much as people seem to think, especially early game against opponents who hit harder than her early game where it's dangerous to let them even get a single hit in because Riven is so squishy.

Diamond 1 Riven main here, I have never seen a Riven with less than 100 games on her succeed.

ur funny cuz there are kids down here who've played say 20 riven matches as a recent pick up and they've won 15 of them

Funny cause I've seen people in Master on stream go "ya know, guess I'll finally try this Riven people are whining about out and see if I don't get face rolled" then proceed to go like 10/3 and whatever. Then go "oh, well then, I guess she really is easy" or some such.

But then again it seems I only see "Riven mains" defend her as being actually difficult to use for some reason. Funny that.

Wow you have a higher winrate with thresh in silver than Voyboy has in master-challenger? Clearly you're the better player. Voyboy is a great example of how a non Riven main plays her, the only time I saw him do well was when his jungler camped his lane.

Not sure why I'm bothering to respond, but pretty sure being better than VoyBoy wasn't my point.

VoyBoy is an example of a player you pulled out of your back end that has considerably dropped off in skill over the past year and a half, and didn't even play top his last year as a pro player. So you might as well say that Xpecial isn't even that great at Riven because he doesn't main Riven.

That example holds about as much weight in reality.

It is actually VERY ok to have a champ be strong when exectued well. The actual "win rate" for balanced champs when played by a skilled and experienced player of that champ should be something like 53% not 50%.

All the people complaining that Riven is Cancer are generally more cancer. Yes, Riven is strong, Yes Riven is mobile. She also requires you to have good decision making and positioning. Riven cant juts hop in and roflstomp or she'll just get popped. Also shes only considered strong in higher Elos because of her animation canceling. ( If Animation Canceling was removed, She'd fall into oblivion ) If you see a Riven, you can generally be aware of what she wants to do. She isnt hard to predict. (Former Riven Main, stopped playing her after I played too much FFXIV)

Even with Max cdr. its still like 3.6 second CD. and it only lasts for a second and a half. Also, please tell me more about all the Rivens that have 700+ Ad for that 900 hp Shield. (While also having Max cdr as well )
