He takes no damage in the jungle and is strong at all points in the game. He gets essentially free resistances the longer a fight goes on, and with longer range than a melee, he decides what fights he wants to take.
On paper, all 3 of his abilities are extremely strong. Against the wall, his Q does insane damage. His W is one of the strongest utility spells in the game and zones like few spells can. His E gives him insane resistances, a dash, and an auto attack reset.
His R is just long range burst, but it also has a knockback which aids in kiting. Oh, and it can be cancelled if comboed with an AA+E into going forward. What the hell is that?
I saw a thread about Kindred vs. Graves and the answer is that Graves should be strong in the early game and Kindred should be strong later. The problem is that fundamentally, Graves scales EXTREMELY well due to being an AD carry. How do you balance that? Where is the weak point* in his armor? His early game is one of the safest in the game AND he can invade at will. Most of the champs that are meta don't have CC, so not having CC isn't the issue people think it is when the meta is Shaco, Kha'Zix, Rengar, and other champs STRICTLY meant for carrying/damage. Champs with CC probably have shit jungle clears anyway.
He's anti tank, has tank stats, huge DPS, high burst, and his W is underrated utility. Unbelievable that this is allowed.
Edit: Apparently what i used instead of "weak point" was a racial slur. I knew that, but didn't intend it that way. Fixed.
