The camera behaviour when using Ryze's ult makes it miserable to use.

I love the new Ryze. He's tons of fun! That is, all except for his ultimate.

Currently, when you use the ultimate, the camera will lock onto the original cast position then pan over to the landing zone. Would it be possible to have the camera not move at all? The moving makes initiating incredibly difficult. When I teleport, I want to immediately lock down somebody and watch what's happening, and that's incredibly hard to do when you have to spend time reorienting yourself, then figuring out where everybody moved in the 0.5 seconds you lost sight of the fight, then choose a target, then move the mouse to that target.

Without having the camera move, I can see exactly what's happening as it's happening, and you can have everything ready without spending precious time. I think this is what's making his win rate so amazingly awful right now.

I think it's a tossup. I've had this problem a bit too, although I've had a bit of a mixed bag with it.

In using to disengage, I think it's better to be able to keep an eye on the fight you are at, and then be able to automatically reorient yourself at your new location.

In using it to engage, I think it is a bit disorienting to lose track of the fight, view the fight a half second later, and then have to reorient where everything is.

I do think the camera shouldn't switch though. Like you said, it can be super disorienting to use Realm Warp to engage into a fight and have to find out where everyone is, and if you are disengaging you can afford to take a half second to manually reorient the camera to center it on yourself.

His E was almost entirely reworked, too. I just like the new way his kit goes together.

Rune Prison was the only basic ability that wasn't dramatically changed. Overload doesn't look like it changed much, but in reality the reset mechanic and the rune stacks makes it play dramatically different, while Spell Flux had massive changes as much as his ultimate.

Does holding down the space-bar help?

I haven't played with the reworked Ryze yet.

It does not.

This behavior is completely ridiculous when you're actually trying to play... you are getting ready to use an ability and your screen begins flying around erratically. Please remove this.
