Has anyone noticed?

Has anyone ever noticed that whenever we, you, us, the players, come out with cool new ideas, balance changes, etc, that nearly EVERYONE agree's to; or if we point out that we don't like what Riot is doing. One of 3 things happens

  1. They REFUSE to comment on it.

  2. They delete the thread

  3. They actually change it (Unbelievably rare, and never how we wanted it, always with their "Riot charm)

I used to have so much respect for this company for them being the only ones that listen to their playerbase, I used to play this game for hours a day, I used to come to the boards and only see people CONGRATULATING Riot on a change they made.

They lost their touch.

They're acting like five year olds, we insult them, they don't do what they NEED to do

Yes, need, not what we want, what they NEED to do.

So, I propose unto you, Riot.

Can you AT LEAST grow a pair and tell us WHY you won't do the changes we ask for?

I don't think there is as good of an example of a trap thread as this one. Tell me, what would you do if a Rioter actually came and said literally anything? My prediction is such:

option a) They don't comment

"Oh hey look I was right they're not commenting!"

option b) They comment, explaining something they're doing that you don't like

"See! They never do anything the community wants!"

option c) They comment, explaining something they're doing that you do like

"But what about X Y and Z??" --> option b

(But, chances are option c is the absolutely least likely, because if you look to be disappointed you're going to be disappointed)

There is nothing to be gained for anyone by red commenting on this, and the same can be said for a lot of complaint threads. People keep asking thinking they know the community opinion without asking the community first. They don't ask specific questions they ask overarching questions that an individual Rioter would be incredibly hard-pressed to know themselves (i.e. "Let me talk with a guy real quick" responses). Then they get offended when devs don't talk to them and grow resentful, making them look for ways to be disappointing and angry at reds first and foremost. It's a very sad pattern really.
