When lore controls a game

can we have a bandle city event please? where can die?

general rule of thumb in stories like these:

no body found = not dead.

especially with someone like around, not to mention he is the deity of sorts in bilgewater. he would almost 100% certainly go to GP in his most desprate of times.

What I don't get is why they go to such great lengths to distance the lore from the game and then do this.

What does GP dying in a game-unrelated AU have to do with him being able to Summon or not in League of Legends?

I like it but in a way it's annoying. If someone really wanted to play GP they're inconvenienced right now. And if anyone mains GP they've lost a main in ranked. I know it's niche but if I were a GP main I'd probably be quite upset that he was disabled just for kicks.

I'm sorry to tell you, but Riot has previously said that they divorced the lore from the game. There is NO reason for him to be disabled, because the game has nothing to do with the lore. If anything, this is really really annoying, especially considering they just reworked Gangplank.

My only wish was that it hadn't been in the launcher, so that i could have read the story first, instead of expecting a server status message and getting spoilers. But other than that, yes, well done.

I'm a GP Main. If weren't currently taking a Nasus trip I'd be mad as hell about them pulling something like this and thinking it's cute.

Seriously though? Why? What the fuck! People enjoy playing him and now he's disabled for god only knows how long.

The amount of people that think GP is disabled because of the lore and not because of a bug (the true reason) is too damn high!
