I know MMR =\= Rank, but this doesn't feel great...

I'm G4, have had an unlucky streak but turned it around, going on an 8-2 stream to get into promos.

It feels really bad to be 1-1 in promos and have your third game be a troll. Someone who was angry that I only got him 3 kills in Top lane, so he said in allchat "GG team too heavy" and just inted a few deaths before AFK farming until the game ended.

I'm used to it. Trolls are part of the game. However, dropping a massive -42 SR after failing promos is painful and added insult to injury. I usually drop about half that, so I get that my MMR must be weighting losses more than wins, but it really stinks. Not posting this in RANT because it's not really a rant, just a thought. Maybe the system should have MMR be more closely tied to actual rank to prevent these wide swings.
