SIVIR: The Meh Adc

Everyone else in bot lane does what does but better, the only thing Sivir does better is rally a team like a cab in human form or harass with annoying bounces or a q, or MAYBE block a spell if the spell shield decides to work properly

Now what do I mean by Sivir is outdated? : All have attack speed steroids or a DPS boost on a basic ability whereas Sivir only gets it once she has ult and only for a limited number of attacks : gets attack speed with her w provided her partner is there helping : ALL have movement speed boosts SOMEWHERE in their kit with Vayne and Jhin having it PASSIVELY occur. : All have arguably better line skillshots than Sivirs that either apply an effect, proc items or runes easily, do more damage or lead into cc (Xayah's root) or burst (Kalista's rend) or stack a passive (Kai'sa), whereas Sivir's just does poke and makes her slightly faster because of her passive. : All have ACTUAL movement abilites

All in all Sivir feels weak sure she has the strength of "run really fast/harass accidentally/block a spell" but against most modern adc's her damage is just not as good Having been a support main I had seen it happen a lot of Sivir getting shredded, but until I finally got her in a game again recently I didn't really know what is was. Looking into it she is REALLY weak being that she isn't late game because all out scale her AND her early game isn't strong enough to power spike and carry like can. She can bully a bit but is still ultimately weaker and I hope riot will give her a mini rework to shift her attack speed, change her passive, and make her q feel more impactful, maybe adding a stall and recall mechanic to it that would cause a slow or armor shred if used.

All in all though this is just my opinion about the state of a cool character, so feel free to tell me what you think of the current state of Sivir or any ideas for a potential mini rework

Sivir has the best movespeed buff, a spell shield, and the safety of a long range, wave destroying skill shot and her bounces.

She's the safest ADC.

yeah but she cant fight other adcs because everything about her is play safe and poke meanwhile Caitlyn has better range and both her and Varus have better poke A safe adc doesn't really help the team, she has a thing she does but it doesn't help he do the carry thing very well

Plus on top of all that she has Meh damage and especially this season its really not doing her any favors

I'm not talking about range or poke. Sivir's niche and the reason to pick her is to have a safe ADC, with above average wave clear. Caitlyn and varus might be better poke but they have their weaknesses that sivir excels at.

And as far as damage goes she's middle of the road and is usually number 11 or 12 out of 18 in every elo.

The real struggle is for her to close out a game against current champions like Xayah and Kai'sa

Well assuming that it's a very close game, Sivir is one of the best ADCs for both stalling out the game and sieging due to her skill shot and ricochet destroying minion waves.

Jinx Kaisa Tristana(level 1) and Quinn all only have 25 more auto attack range than sivir does and they're all among the safest ADCs too. Soooooo

I legitimately think Tristana is the safest ADC. Having a dash and a ranged Lee Sin kick is relatively comfortable.

Sivir is a monster late game. She has a lot of safety, a lot of teamfight presence, and a lot of utility to help facilitate her team. She wins lane by auto pushing and she can win trades and skirmishes by properly utilizing her AA reset. For most of the early season she was a solid contender for second or third best ADC and even eventually got a nerf for it.

I feel like she isn't very interesting to play but she's definitely not bad or meh. :/

She literally cant 1v1 most other adcs late game, doesn't true damage, doesn't have % health damage, doesn't do magic damage, doesn't have an execute, has no cc at all shes super Meh rn, because of how bland she is compared to literally every other adc pick

She's not supposed to 1v1 other ADCs. She's a teamfighter. .-. And no other ADC brings as much teamwide utility as Sivir. She literally exists to tie a team together. If she's boring, that's one thing, but I wouldn't ever consider her bad. She's painfully generalist and fits into nearly any teamcomp to a fault. Hence why when she's too good, she's the only ADC they pick at World and in Pro play.

Im not talking about pro play, im talking about in solo q where it should actually matter most

Best waveclear in the game, a utility ultimate, and a spell shield on demand. She's meant to tie a team together and provides good dps regardless as it reaches late game, even if not stellar.

If by dated, you mean she's too simple and generic, then perhaps.

Yup, shes so bland that theres almost and adc for every thing she does that does it better/more consistantly/or more reliably Sivir is just so generic that I feel she needs a minor rework to make her more "Pick Sivir shes good at something that another pick isnt"
