Either in the form of better itemization against him or making him actually need his entire kit to land kills.
He shouldn't be able to use his Q to get up in your face for a guaranteed ult and kill. And if he does want to do that, there should be some viable early MR itemization for AP carries to stop his all in at level 6.

Tesladin1 votesKassadin and Pantheon, I believe. Im rubbish at mid and even I had no trouble aginst him with Pantheon. You just farm until he dares make a move, especially if he wastes his jump, stun him, spear him, etc. If he doesn't waste his abilities, you obviously win an autoattack exchange, and you can use spear because of the short cooldown, just watch out for the lane minions.
LetMeCarry19831 votesFizz is one of the few champions that can go 20-3 and still lose. All he can really do is kill one person better when fed. Not very useful in a lategame slugfest.
