There is this new chinese boosting strategy with jg and mid. What happens is that farms his jungle, and the mid holds the lane so takes the cs mid, leading to an over farmed yi, (and possibly with kills). Meanwhile just sits mid with a and then buying extremely underpriced support items like . The enemy mid can't punish this because he is basically in a 1v2 lane and can't overextend at all or else get killed. After about 20 minutes, the duo just end the game with a that tears up everything in his path awhile being immune to damage. Bonus points if there is a . There is no counterplay to this. Even Apdo said there is no counterplay to this. This needs hotfixing now.

duo strats like this have immense pressure releaved elsewhere though, that's the drawback. besides this isn't a support-wide problem, because this would still work if it was a taric bot with yi jg. its just the nature of their kits, because no matter what taric builds or what lane he plays in, yi is still getting invulnerability for 2.5 seconds post 6.

edit: now that I think about it a bit deeper though it is a kind of asinine one, considering yi is basically the single player mode of league. once hes fed it wont really matter. but my point still stands, you're just more or less barking up the wrong tree.
