about ranged "oppression" or whatever.

Maybe if these people spent more time learning how to play rather then whining, they wouldnt have anything to cry about.

Seriously I can only go through the front page and find 20 threads from melee players "wah wah nerf ranged too op" "make cleaver MELEE ONLY!!!1@" etc

I don't think that melee is way off or really bad but honestly, at least for me, it seems like auto attacking with a melee is trickier than ranged and that's why a lot of people might not feel that melee can compete that well. IMO attack speed scaling on melee champions makes them feel a little clunky at times.
