Remove Maokai's point and click dash-root

It's funny how you rework a champion because said champ is cancerous. Yet you leave the most cancerous part of the kit untouched. Same with Ryze - he'll never be balanced with his bullshit point and click root. Maokai will continue to outclass other tanks until his point and click CC is removed. Make it a skillshot like Shen's E.

Sick and tired of these overtuned CC bot tanks because you nerfed their items into shit. Now they have to be overpowered to even begin to work. No one would miss Mao if he was left in the trashcan. He and Ryze both deserve to stay there until they're fixed. I don't even know why there's still point and click CC in this game in 2017.

those got nerfed into the ground a while ago to the point where qss is just a better cleanse since it can remove suppresions and you get a summoner

Because who the fuck cares about mechanics. Ain't got time to watch your movements and also play around your flash/mobility spells. If I want to CC you I'm just gonna CC you - that's why Maokai is my favorite tank in the game.

He's a Warden that also effectively plays as a Vanguard because of a bunch of different movement speed buff sources. Riot should implemnt the acceleration thing on his W to make it more effective when he's nearby (Warden) but less effective from far away (Vanguard).

his W has a cd ... the root duration scales per rank of the W and they remove the % hp damage from it...

wtf do you want more from it?

tell you what.. we will remove garens point and click Q his free armor on W and his point and click ult

cuz ya know garen is clearly op and unfair to play against.

I don't mind the point and click root. I just hate how it makes him untargetable. You can't interrupt it. There's no counterplay to that. At least Ryze's root has an extremely low range, despite being instant, and it's his only cc. Maokai's whole kit is CC, and he has damage, on top of tankiness.

There is counterplay- its just really situational.

If you can go untargetable im pretty sure this cancels the root.

Why are you complaining about Maokai W, a point and click root, when someone like annie/tf have a point+click stun from range that doesnt put them in danger?(yeah i get mao is a tank and he wants to be melee but still)

And on top of that, theres a champ with a nasty 2.5 seconds worth of point+click hard cc in which you can do LITERALLY NOTHING unless youre gangplank/have tahm kench/qss - Malzahar
