How does such a change get approved

Where a champion who is known for doing one thing, gets reduced to only being **capable ** of doing another thing, that's not even as good as the old thing.

I get that riot want's to make their game easier to make players feel like they are better than they actually are (the majority of players are at a bronze-silver level), but god damn, how you designed a champion's kit so badly that the player's skill is almost a non-factor in fights is just beyond me.

I think the fact that no one in the thread is able to figure out a champion that this applies to implies that whatever champion you're thinking of is actually in a good place.

Sounds more like you got beaten by someone you feel is worse than you, and are trying to blame the champion rather than relative skills.

What champion are you talking about?

Warwick?

I'm not going to say, because if you can list more than 1 champion which this applies, the problem should be apparent.

I cant think of any champions this applies for. I cant think of any champion where I am just as scared to go against in both platinum and bronze.

Except the difference between a plat and bronze player often isn't the champion mechanics, it's the game mechanics. Map awareness, positioning, jungle tracking, exc.

I'm talking about a champion who's success or failure rides, not on the player's ability to play the champion, but on the enemy champion's mechanics or the enemy player's ability to play around the champion.

Think the opposite of yasuo, who's a champion that has such high opportunity for input of very basic mechanics that he often outplays himself. Rather a champion that has so little opportunity for input with such complex mechanics, that they can't hope to outplay a someone.

Yes, I understand you man. Take the new ping system, jungle timers, and trinkets. All of these things make the difference of bronze and challenger less noticeable. However, I do not really agree that the champions have become of a lower skill cap. Maybe some but not all.

He is talking about Fizz and fishboy should be nerfed.

haha no, the champion i have in mind is actually a casualty of the MYMU, but to be fair a lot of the changes for all of the champions just felt like changes for the sake of change.
