@Meddler, What kind of attention should be expected for kindred

It is clear that the champ is in a state of needing attention in the form of buffs. Would there be any considerations to revert any of the previous nerfs? Or are you continuing down the path of reworking the kits mechanics, and in that case is riot just going to continue hard down the mini rework path and give a alistar/shyvana level attention to kindred? Is the kindred community being considered for their thoughts which have been posted in much higher number and frequency since the preseason start?

I agree. They've been very weak for months now. The nerfs in 6.11 and 6.13 hit them really hard. Right now they have a 42.52% win rate in Plat+ games according to OP.gg. The Fervor changes hurt them badly as well. Kindred has really bad AD scaling on their abilities so most of their damage comes from auto attacks, especially late game. Before it used to add 111.92 on-hit damage at max stacks and now it only adds 60 damage to their auto attacks. During the course of a fight that difference of nearly-52 damage loss on every auto is huge.

I've noticed that Riot lately has been doing "mini reworks" so I assume that's what they will do to Kindred when they get around to buffing them. The last time they were mentioned, a Rioter (can't remember who) said something along the lines of "We're trying to figure out where their power lies and also where it should lie. Still don't have anything concrete yet."

I think the tweaks to Fervor of Battle next patch will be enough.

People said the same thing about botrk buffs, kindred actually ended up dropping further in stat performance. Likely part of it being from the higher end of hard core kindred mains simply giving up on trying to make things work on the champ.

They don't build BoRK though. They do take Fervor. I've seen experienced Kindreds crush so I think they're in an ok spot considering how strong AP is right now. With AP being toned down and Rylai's meta shifting I think their success rate can only rise.

Fervor became garbage on kindred once it was changed. Kindred mains are slowly switching up to tld, because fervor is such a bad choice for kindred. Rylai's getting changed wont make any difference in kindreds performance, and fervor wont make any meaningful change for kindred who is known to have such poor AD ratio's. Any experience kindred's winning at this point are in a state of being hard carried by their team or against a really bad team.

I respectfully disagree. TLD feels good, but if you're in a fight for any longer than 5 seconds Fervor of Battle does more damage that TLD. Not to mention how much Battering Blows is better than Precision for them, which you can't get while taking TLD

Any kindred that is in a fight for that long without their utl is dead. And this isn't an azir/old ryze situation of even when they had a questionable overall stat performance they were extremely high skill reliant champs, while kindred is a mechanically simple and very squishy not very high damage champ.

And unlike the few patched before preseason where kindred just barely hovered at 50%, kindred is in a worse state than preupdate shyvana and this preseason fiddle at this moment.

You're comparing them to current Fiddle? You're joking/exaggerating right? They're nowhere near current Fiddle or pre-update Shyv.

Kindred needs quite a bit of Macro and feel experience. They're not exactly pick up and go... and you can't pick them with just any team comp either (need to account for that in their win-rate too since it drags it down.) ---but you know that already.

Current Fervor they need 5 seconds, next patch's Fervor they'll need 3.5 seconds of autos to catch up to TLD damage. I guess I should have made that more clear now that I read my other comment over again.
