To those of you complaining about Darius having a heal, think about this for a second

Before his rework he offered nothing but damage, and if he didn't survive a fight long enough in order to dish out his damage, he was a useless meatshield.

What did every other Bruiser in the game besides Darius have? A reliable way to stay alive and kicking in the middle of a fight.

Examples: Wukong clone and passive Riven shield Irelia sustain on W and R with her tenacity Renekton Q and R Garen W active and passive Mundo ult Pantheon passive Skarner W Mord passive

Darius had nothing.

The reason he has been given sustain based on his missing health is so that he can actually survive long enough in the fight and keep on dishing his damage out.

Before you say his is too spammable or that he heals for metric shit tons of health, he heals for more based on how much health he is missing, and it is spammable because not only is it not a reliable heal(they have to be hit by the blade), but there is counterplay to negate the heal, either get in super close range with Darius, or back off while he casts it.

While I don't mean to say he's fine or op or up, I'm just trying to explain why he has his heal.

Does this make sense? Upvoting or downvpting without leaving a comment hurts :(

and that's what destroyed part of Darius' identity, he was probably the only fighter in the game with no tanky steroids, damage mitigation or sustain in his kit

and they reworked him into a drain tank, which is more what Aatrox should have received instead

right now playing as Darius feels awful, and it will continue to feel awful as long as he has a delay and a heal on his Q :(

it's ironic to think that Darius was healthier for the game and more unique before his rework...
