Fed OP champions

Here is the deal, I am roaming between Gold II and Gold IV, and overal I play a really good jungle with solid scores, no matter which junglers I play. However I am constantly getting annoyed by fed OP laners, which I can't do sh*t about.

For instance, fed Irelia top lane, 5/0 at a 15 minute mark. I can't gank them because it will just waste my time and set me back. I can't make my laner play 'safe'. I can't camp them because it's useless. What can I do? I have had several games where the whole team was ahead except for this one lane, most commonly top lane and we just lost because this Ekko, Irelia, Vlad, Gangplank, Fiora or whatever is fed as hell and cannot be ganked. Most of the time they are 2, 3 or even 4 levels ahead and they cannot be stopped. The games is lost, yet my team is ahead.

2 years ago it was Katarina and Akali, who dominated games like this, then the game shifted, the cinderhulk made Sejauni completely off the charts op, and now it are many toplaners who are out of control. And it seems no one can play a good game against these champs either. They are hard to gank, nearly impossible to counter and just destroying all the balance in the game. Looking back at it, there never has been real balance because of all this shifting around.

You could say that the odds are even because I could very well have an Irelia on my team being OP for me, well yeah great I'll just AFK then next time because my OP laner will carry me anyway... The game shouldn't be like this.
