a few points about the new preseason assassin items that worry me

The amount of lethality 60 in total now, add to that 19 pen from runes and 8 from masteries for 87 pen, i know that's late game but still. 87 penetration is more then most champions have in base armor, many champions even with starting 9 armor wont get there.

Its a ridiculous amount of penetration, applied after % pen So you can still buy LDR and Black cleaver

This worries me for tanky champions, it means their armor is completely useless, it also makes life difficult for squishies.

And even though lethality is a more scaling stat if afraid it is still going to find its way into many jhin miss fortune and lucian builds. Allowing them to pretty much true damage every non tank

The whole lethality thing is an increase in early armorpen, a decrease in midgame armorpen, and then again an increase in lategame armorpen But if you buy 3 lethality items, compared to what we currently have, its a net increase in midgame armorpen

This overal worriues me as it might end up making things worse then current seasons shenanigans with armorpen stacking

The second thing which leaves me worried is the out of combat movespeed, it gives a lot of hidden power, from escaping to roaming to splitpushing and rotating. You essentially gain mobi boots without mobi boots. This might cause some issues because it makes any user of these items incredibly frustrating to deal with as splitpushers, aswell as giving them the upperhand with rotating towards objectives. Now this is fine, it lets assassin get to places quicker and prepare to ambush. But it also reinforces their splitpush power and map pressure among other things which might increase snowballing a lot

And finally, the sheer amount of magic resist available from offensive items now sitting at 115 which is really high considering you don't give up damage or utility in those items. In fact you get a spell shield and a cleanse and a magic shield from them making you near immortal to any sort of ap spellcaster which seems a tad bit ridiculous considering you also get 175 ad and 20 lethality so your damage isn't really suffering from it

Lethality is not flat armor penetration. 0.4X + [((0.6X * Y)/18) = Flat Penetration Amount], where X is Lethality and Y is target champion level.

True but once you are level 18 that number is 100% so it ends up being 20

And that's the thing i am a bit worried about it lets you get to 87 penetration. currently 67 is about the limit

Considering how the number is a lot higher i expect the overall amount of available flat pen to be pretty much even or higher throughout most of the game
